Vibrant Colors for a Leslie Gulch Elopement: Editorial

I am always into seeing something slightly unexpected and fun. When we began brainstorming for this Leslie Gulch Elopement Editorial, I wanted to explore the “nature elopement” but doing it in style! Fun and functional boots paired with a form fitting pearl covered dress, Yes Please!

I wanted the flowers to have a desert sunset sort of look, hot pink and orange have always brought me joy and remind me of cactus flowers. I had loads of fun choosing unique blooms for this like Hot Poker Flowers, Pincushion Protea, Sandersonia and Coral Charm Peonies.

While nerding out over fun colors and floral varieties is where I excel, if you’re thinking of doing a grand adventure of an elopement, please do your research first! Check out all the information about where you want to visit and make sure your timing is on point.

I do have to admit, I only had to brainstorm and create a few floral pieces for this project. My very talented friend + photographer, Becky with Ostendo Photography did the lions share of the work and research on this one! She has a super informative blog post about our Elopement Editorial Shoot at Leslie Gulch. There you will find a ton of information and tips for Eloping in the Pacific Northwest. I totally recommend you check it out if you are thinking about an adventurous elopement Oregon or Idaho.
