I started designing flowers when I was just 17. At the time, it was just a side gig to get me through college and into the Police Academy. I had always dreamed of being a “badass crime fighter,” but little did I know, floral design would change my life.
The colors + textures, the way flowers can bring so much meaning and emotion to everyday moments —I was obsessed. I fell headfirst into the world of flowers, and never looked back.
What I love most about being a florist is how it allows me to connect with complete strangers in the most meaningful ways... I’ve been there for moments of pure joy, like creating a dreamy floral wonderland for a proposal, and moments of deep sorrow, helping a grieving parent plan a memorial tribute for their child. These experiences have shaped my journey and inspired me to chase this dream with everything I have.
It’s not just about flowers for me—it’s about creating an experience that leaves a mark. I take pride in making each design unique and personal, because flowers should feel extraordinary and match the energy of the people they’re for.
In my 20+ years of experience, I’ve had the chance to work in almost every corner of the floral industry. From earning my California Certified Floral Designer credentials in 2014 to placing in the top 10 at state competition in 2015, I’ve continually sought to hone my craft. Whether I was teaching floral design mechanics, leading teams as a Designer & Manager, or freelancing across three states, I’ve taught, learned + collaborated; sharing in endless knowledge and experience along the way.
I am confident in my craft, passionate about my work, and I like to have fun with it, infusing each project with personality and authenticity.
My life beyond the floral realm? I’m just a quirky, boba tea-obsessed, partner of one, mother of two, lover of equality + kindness, who pours my heart into everything I do. I like to rock out in the studio to everything from Eminem + Limp Bizkit, Harry Styles + Adele to Los Bukis + Vicente Fernandez. I cover a lot of ground, in all aspects of my life!
